School may be out prematurely and while it might be welcome news for some, for students about to sit GCSEs, A-levels or move on to college or university, it can be a difficult and overwhelming time.
After months of preparation, revision and studying, to suddenly have the opportunity of demonstrating that knowledge taken away, can be a huge anti-climax. But it’s not just disappointment that students are faced with. Long periods without formal teaching or structure can lead to a lack of motivation, enthusiasm and potentially cause depression as students battle with boredom.
At The Community Schools we understand that this is a testing time for anyone at a critical point in their studies. With that in mind, we’ve moved our tutoring sessions online so that students can maintain good study habits and bridge the gap between what’s happening now and when schools and universities reopen.
Using our specialist online software, sessions will include no more than two students at any one time, with the tutors working with all students on a one to one basis. We cover a broad range of subjects and cover GCSE, A-Levels and can help students hoping to move on to university keep up their learning. Sessions are a great way to focus on any specific areas students struggle with or want to explore in greater depth in order to achieve mastery in their chosen area.
So if your son or daughter is moving on to A levels or university in September, keep the momentum of learning going with some structured weekly tuition. Our home tutoring online is available in four week blocks, so there is no long term commitment. And if after four weeks you want to continue, that’s perfectly fine too. You can enrol at any time so visit the website to find out more about the subjects we cover, call us on 07747 037441, email us at email@example.com or fill out our contact form.
